Established in 1921, Kildonan Park is Winnipeg's oldest municipal golf course. Situated on the banks of the Red River, it features fairways and greens in superb condition, with lush vegetation that only time can bestow on a golf course. Players find this medium length course quite challenging, with four of five par threes playing over 200 yards. The other par 3 is a distinctive and memorable train bridge hole found nowhere else in the world. Lessons are available from a CPGA Golf Professional and tee time reservations can be made 3 days in advance.

A fairly easy course with a fun and interesting train bridge hole. If you're an amateur golfer like me, this course is wide open so it'll give you confidence when you're on the tee.

Yeah, it's a nice wide open course. You can't miss the fairway here. Very quick course to play if you want a fairly quick game. That train bridge hole is unique and fun to play. Do you go under or over? Seems I take the under.

Kildonan is not the fastest place to play a round as there are many beginers and seniors 65+ that have difficulty hitting for distance.
Still, it is one of my favorite courses as it is picturesque with those gigantic elms and as mentioned is wide open and forgiving.

We've played a couple rounds so far this April and it's a really fun course to play. You don't run into problems too often which is great when you're trying to get rid of the winter rust off your game. It's one of Winnipeg's golf gems.

Kildonan golf course is not challenging at all. An experienced golfer can break par very easily here. It's a perfect golf course for amateurs. As already mentioned, the giant trees are magnificent.
